- How can Connections Skate Shop be

- What are the advantages of creating an
account?
By setting up an account at
www.ConnectionsSkateShop.com, you will get the most out of
your shopping experience. It allows you to check your order
history, track current order status, and access your order
receipts. It also keeps track of your billing and shipping
addresses, so you only have to enter this information once,
allowing a quick and smooth checkout process. You can easily
change your billing and shipping addresses, or add alternate
shipping addresses to an address book. When creating your
account, be sure to also subscribe to the newsletter if
you'd like to receive it.
- What information comes in the
newsletter?
From time to time, Connections
will email a newsletter to those who have subscribed. It is
not necessary to create an account to get the newsletter,
you can simply sign up using the box in the left column of
the website. This newsletter will include exclusive
promotions and deals only available to subscribers. It will
also have information on hot new products, new team riders,
upcoming competitions, etc. Periodically, Connections Skate
Shop will randomly choose a newsletter subscriber to receive
a free gift (approximate $50 value) with their next purchase
of $20 or more. The winner will be notified by email with
instructions on how to receive the free gift.
- Can items that aren't carried or that are
out of stock be special ordered?
Yes, we, at
Connections, will do our best to get you what you want as
quick as possible and at a great price.
- Does Connections offer price
matching?
If a better price is found, and the
competitor has the same exact item in stock, we will meet or
even beat their price.
- In what ways can orders be
placed?
Orders can be placed online 24 hours a
day or on the phone (281-265-2278) during buiness
hours.
- Are any precautions taken to protect the
buyers privacy when placing an order?
To
protect your personal information during transmission, we
use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software to encrypt the
information you provided to us during checkout.
- What payment options are
available?
Connections Skate Shop proundly
accepts debit and credit cards from Visa, Mastercard,
Discover, and American Eexpress. Also, you are welcome to
use Paypal, send a money order to our address on the
"contact" page, or stop by our shop location to pay with
cash.
- Will sales tax be added to the order
total?
Sales tax is only added to orders
placed by residents of Texas.
- Can an order be changed once it is
placed?
Yes, orders can be changed as long as
it has not been shipped. If you need to make a change, call
us as soon as possible at 281-265-2278.
- Can the status of an order be
tracked?
To get the order status, call or
email us with your full name and order number. We will track
it for you, or we can give you the tracking
number.
- When will orders be
shipped?
After the order is processed and
approved, we will ship it within 24 hours, as long as there
are no problems.
- Are shipments to international addresses
allowed?
Yes, we will place international
orders, but they must be placed over the phone, so call
281-265-2278.
- Who pays the international customs,
tariffs, taxes, or duties?
The customer is
responsable for all international dues.
- What is the policy on returns and
exchanges?
CONNECTIONS SKATE SHOP IS UNABLE TO
OFFER REFUNDS FOR THE RETURN OF ITEMS PURCHASED, BUT WE ARE
GLAD TO MAKE AN EXCHANGE WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF DELIVERY IF THERE
IS A PROBLEM WITH ANY UNUSED ITEM. We offer an exchange
policy if there is a sizing problem on skates or any other
item, as long as the item is unused. If you are unsure about
the fit of your skates, try them on inside your home please,
not in your garage or driveway. Wheels must be unused.
Videos and any other packaged items must be intact and
unopened. Contact Connections Skate Shop at 281-265-2278 to
get your exchange approved before shipping your items back.
All packages must be pre-paid and insured. ITEMS RETURNED
UNAUTHORIZED WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. You will also be
responsible for return freight to ship out your exchanged
products. THERE ARE NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON CLOSEOUT,
SALE ITEMS, OR MAGAZINES. Exchanges of custom skates require
an assembly fee/disassembly fee of $35.00. The $35.00 covers
labor and the credit card processing fees. Modification of
parts such as dye, cutting, and any other special work that
needs to be done are not exchangeable. Please take note that
UFS parts may be challenging to install, and does not
warrant a return. We are glad to work with our customers
over the phone or in our shop for installation advice. If
you are unable to meet the challenge of installation, this
is not the fault of Connections Skate Shop. Most products
carry manufacturer warranties; please contact Connections
for assistance with any manufacture defect, and we will be
glad to assist you as best we can. Credit card chargebacks:
If you find a charge that you believe is Fraudulent or you
do not recognize, please call us first at 281-265-2278.
Processing a chargeback costs us a minimum of $15.00 and you
will be responsible for this charge on the reversal. Phone
orders are subject to all of the above. The terms of Visa,
Master Card, Discover, and American Express are superseded
by Connections Skate Shop terms. Thanks again for shopping

- What is Connections Skate Shop's sales
agreement and liability release?
If there is a
sizing problem on skates or any other item, we offer an

responsible for return freight to ship out your exchanged
