So what's the relation between you and Conan O'Brien?
We used to pimp bitches together back in the day.
You were living in Cali for a while and came back to good ol' Texas. How is it being back home?
All I have to say is never move anywhere for a girl because 99.9 percent of the time it’s a fucking mistake. I guess Farmer is that 00.1 percent. But yeah, it's great to be back home!
How do you think your skating has changed over the years?
Shit, I don't know. All I used to do is true fishbrains and now I've broadened my trick vocabulary. Also, I skate all sorts of shit now.
How do you think the skating in Dallas varries from other parts of Texas?
There's a different vibe in every city. Austin, Houston, and San Antonio are all awesome, but there's something about the sessions we get going in Dallas… There is no place like home.
What is your idea of a good day of skating?
Wake up on a Saturday and pick up Sullivan, because you know that his punk ass isn’t going to drive anywhere. We would meet up with Chase Rushing, Chris Farmer, Fritz Peitzner, and Josh Navarifar to skate… Then come back to swim and end the day with a nice heated game of Texas Hold’em.
Who are your two people to session with?
Number one in my book is John Sullivan. Then in no particular order Fritz Peitzner, Chase Rushing, Chase Harding, Josh Navarifar, Chris Farmer, Gonzo, Michael Stein, Jose Gorbea along with all my H-town boys, Pat Leal, or anyone that skates and get juiced instead of killing the session.
What is the best all time skate product to hit our industry?
Simple, it's got to be skates.
What do you think makes the Connections Skate Shop team different from any other skate shop team out there?
Well, all of us on the team are all boys. Shit, I would consider half the team some of my best friends. We all know each other and theres a good vibe that is present when we all skate together.
If you could get 1 new part on your car, what would it be and why?
A wood grain steering wheel because you got to grip that grain!
How do you feel about the tight pants trend?
It's whatever. I think it's whack to see kids who are wearing girl pants today when they were wearing huge sweat pants last year. If tight pants are part of the persons style, like Chase Rushing, Micah Yeager, and Michael Stein, than it's all gravy because it is part of their skating style.
Do you like girls that are easy or that take some effort?
That depends on whether I'm trying to have fun for just the night or for the entire year.
